Responsibilities

  • Manage Daily Operations : Oversee all day-to-day activities of the Registries agency and agents, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Strategic Planning : Contribute to the development and execution of Registries’ strategic plans, aligning departmental goals with the broader business objectives.
  • Financial Oversight : Provide insights and guidance on Registries' budgets and financial forecasting processes.
  • Marketing Development : Assist in creating and implementing the marketing plan for Registry Services to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Reporting Oversight : Supervise the timely and accurate completion of Registries-related reports.
  • Modernization & Efficiency : Support initiatives aimed at modernizing, automating, and improving operational efficiency, actively seeking feedback for ongoing enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Relations : Foster and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, including the Government of Alberta (GOA) and AARA.
  • Program Optimization : Define and drive the vision for renewal programs, ensuring successful execution through collaboration with business partners.
  • Customer Service : Assess customer needs and process over 160 different products using various databases on behalf of Service Alberta.
  • Policy Adherence : Uphold a high standard of integrity, ensuring all agents comply with policies and procedures set by Service Alberta.
  • Service Oversight : Oversee the processing of services related to Motor Vehicles, Corporate Registries, Vital Statistics, Personal Property, and Land Titles. AHCIP designation is an asset.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role with a proven track record of managing teams, projects, or departments.
  • Education : Degree in Business Administration or Management is preferred.
  • Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Alberta Registry Services.
  • Certifications : Basic General Registries Certificate, along with CORES, ProRate, Fleet, and AHS certifications / experience.
  • Customer-Focused : Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Multi-Tasking : Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Skills : Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Background Checks : Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
