Job description

Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will be supporting the management of the P&L and influencing business decisions that drive revenue and profitability. The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will perform financial planning and analysis as well as building and improving analytical tools to measure overall financial performance, standardize and automate financial reports.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reports sent to regional management to improve the quality of operational decision-making

Perform analysis on financial and operational performance

Prepare financial performance models for external stakeholders

Support in the external financial forecasting and budgeting process

Assist in the timely preparation of internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Support the month end and year end close as needed

Support all Finance teams in reporting system improvements and enhancements

Takes initiative in driving meaningful ad-hoc analysis for the management team

Train and mentor other staff on financial reporting standards and accounting best practices

Provide ad-hoc operational support to various business functions such as finance, operations and controls

Other projects as assigned (acquisitions, financing, etc.)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, three years in finance or accounting roles (MBA / CPA preferred).

Advanced analytical skills

An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

Seeking to understand business drivers and new ideas.

A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations

Strong Attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to deliver on competing priorities

Strong knowledge of accounting practices and regulations

An ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment

Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
