Job descriptionDEC in Building Estimating, Architectural Technology or other relevant field; 5 years of experience as a drafter or architectural technician; 2 years of experience in structural drafting; Proficient in AutoCAD, (Alpine is an asset); Hybrid schedule (office-home), lots of flexibility; French.
Our client specializes in the design and manufacture of custom prefabricated wooden structures. They are looking for a Building / Structural Drafter.
- Study and analyze documents (sketches, plans, architectural specifications, engineering specifications, evaluations);
- Design structural plans according to company standards
- Prepare plans and production drawings (AutoCAD and Alpine);
- Transmit information on needed calculated details to production and purchasing;
- Review / control plans to be delivered to clients to ensure compliance with with contract and estimate;
- Be in communications with the project manager and other concerned resources.
