Operator - Casual

Location : Ottawa, ON - On site

Hourly : $18.70 / HR

Shift : Morning (7 am - 3 pm)

Casual : Typical shifts are 8 hours with a 30 minute lunchbreak. The hours of work fluctuate during the year; June and July are very limited with upwards of 37.5 hours / week from February until the end of April. The hours drop to part-time for May onwards.

We are searching for a Casual Operator for our Ottawa Facility.

About the Role

The Operator is responsible for intake, processing, and preparing of new and reused products. Reporting to the Shift Lead, the incumbent will handle scanning, sorting, and labeling of incoming products.

Responsibilities

• Scan, wash, and dry returned (dirty) products
• Sort products based on size, scan into box, and package
• Label new inventory and repackage into box
• Prepare orders and organize inventory
• Clean work area daily including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces
• Duties as assigned
