What you'll do
The Business Development Managerparticipates in the development and acquisition of key account relationships on a national level;
focusing on the establishment and maintenance of the strategic partnership. The role will define long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, acquire and build new strategic partnerships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Collaborate with internal and external partners
Prospect for potential new strategic accounts / partnerships on a national level and increase business generating revenue
Discover and explore opportunities for potential business deals by contacting potential partners
Identify and build relationships with potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options;
resolving internal priorities and recommending equity investments
Develop negotiating strategies and positions and examine risks and potentials; estimate partners' needs and goals
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, develop and negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations
Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging network
Provide reports on competitor information, insights and initiatives.
Support the acquisition and development of strategic partnerships and associations that align with our mission and strategic direction
Gather and communicate information on competitors and presents specific competitor strategies
Develop and maintain market knowledge and understands the decision making structures of target customers
Present brand and product offerings; by fully understanding our Value Proposition and is able to sell a solution based on customer needs to create long term value
What you bring
10+ years of sales or marketing experience
Strong account management experience
Working knowledge of commercial agreements
Demonstrated skills in strategically retaining and growing key accounts.
Relationship building skills
Superior Presentation skills and Strong business acumen is required.
Communication with C suite
