Developer

Position Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Developer to design build and scale robust internet-facing enterprise applications. You will play a key role in building secure high-performance services that support modern distributed video management/delivery systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable applications using C# Framework/.NET Core
Architect and optimize solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
Develop and deploy applications using container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes or similar)
Implement and support event-driven architectures using event streaming platforms
Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical design reviews
Lead code reviews and mentor intermediate/junior developers
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system observability and resilience

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

10 years of experience in software development with C#/.NET
Experience designing building and maintaining internetfacing or public services with a strong focus on security scalability and high availability.
Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (performance tuning indexing query optimization)
Solid experience with containers and microservices-based systems
Experience with event streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka Event Hubs or similar)
Strong understanding of system design APIs and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
