The Smurfit Westrock Ajax facility is looking for a Clamp Truck Driver (Material Handler 1)  to work in the Distribution department. Reporting directly to the Distribution Supervisor and working closely with the Shift Supervisor the Clamp Truck Driver is responsible for the offloading of box cars / trucks of rolls and loading presses.

The Ajax packaging facility, where these positions are based, is one of the largest employers in Ajax and Durham Region. We provide innovative packaging solutions to the beverage market and serve name brand customers such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Labatt and Molson to name a few.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock :

Material Handling - External 45%

• Load finished goods on truck to be shipped to the customers.
• Responsible for filling out / recording all product movement in BPCS system.
• Unload materials received from suppliers and deliver to appropriate department.
• Unload Board from railcars or trucks and place in location or stage at presses.

Material Handling - Internal 45%

Housekeeping 10%
