Senior Accounting Advisor (QuickBooks Online Expert)

Our client, a respected and growth-oriented organization, is seeking a Senior Accounting Advisor with deep expertise in QuickBooks Online. This is a opportunity focusing on high-level accounting advisory, process optimization, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor for all QuickBooks Online accounting matters
• Manage full-cycle accounting tasks: month-end close, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and reporting
• Prepare and validate GST filings, T4s, and various compliance submissions
• Evaluate, streamline, and implement best practices within QuickBooks Online for efficiency and accuracy
• Lead training and support for internal staff on QuickBooks functionalities and improvements
• Provide guidance on accounting policies, compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Partner with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making support
• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements within QuickBooks Online

• Progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks Online
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including integrations, customizations, and troubleshooting
• Strategic mindset with proven experience improving accounting processes and workflows
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring both finance and non-finance staff
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
