ABOUT THE UPPER GRAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (UGDSB)

The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 4000 dedicated staff who serve more than 35000 students attending a variety of programs across 66 elementary and 11 secondary schools as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in the counties of Dufferin Wellington and the City of Guelph. The UGDSB covers the ancestral and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit the Six Nations of the Grand River and Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Maintenance team in the capacity of Electrical Technician. This is a permanent full-time position to commence as soon as possible.

Location : Assignments to all schools / locations maintained by the UGDSB.

Hours of work / FTE : 1.0 FTE; 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay : Base Hourly rate : $34.54 per hour (probationary rate) $36.74 per hour (permanent rate); wage rate effective September 1 2025

• Labour market adjustment of 10.5% to be applied to base hourly rate; hourly probationary rate inclusive of market adjustment is $38.17 per hour hourly permanent rate inclusive of market adjustment is $40.60 per hour ; wage rate effective September 1 2025
• adjustment may fluctuate based on local market
