Equipment Operator Telecom Construction

You are an experienced Equipment Operator with a proven ability to work alongside crew members in a high-pressure environment while maintaining project quality to help build telecommunications networks. You are familiar with current construction work safe practices can read utility locates and produce daily production reports. Essential Responsibilities :

• Safe and efficient operation of mini excavators rubber tire backhoes trenchers dozers skid steers etc.
• Identify and report any repairs and / or defects in equipment or materials to ensure proper maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Operates equipment hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
• Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered to
• Maintains a healthy and safe work environment for the crew the public the customer and Ledcor
• Works as a part of an overhead telecom line crew and assists with restoring job sites back to their original state
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new employees helping them integrate into the team and perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Responsible for daily production reporting to the Foreperson ensuring that progress is documented and communicated effectively
• Take active role in Ledcors health and safety program
