Field Marketer Summer Intern

We are currently seeking 6 self-motivated individuals interested in a 2026 Summer Internship to gain experience, leadership skills and hands-on training. These positions are available at our Ailsa Craig, Aylmer, Drayton, Hensall, Mitchell, and Tilbury / Harrow locations.

Job Duties

• Understand agronomic tasks in accordance with the Certified Crop Advisor Designation (CCA) including weed, insect and disease identification and various field scouting techniques.
• Assist with inventory tasks including counts and re-counts.
• Maintain records of field conditions during field walks.
• Assist with office duties such as filing, invoicing, answering phones, scheduling, etc.
• Operate forklift to load or unload chemicals and seed.
• Assist with overall shipping, receiving, and storing / conditioning of commercial grains.
• Attend weekly education with other interns to learn agronomic solutions.
• Work with the Operations division to schedule repairs and maintenance at the location.
• Understand and follow all HC health & safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Wage rate will remain flexible based on previous experience / education.

Individuals must have a valid G driver’s license and be flexible to work in an office environment as well as performing tasks indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.

The successful candidate will have a background in agriculture, strong communication, presentation, and technical skills and will be task oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate would be working towards a degree or diploma in Agriculture or possesses equivalent previous experience.
