Embedded System Test Engineer, Python

Hybrid work, 1-year contract, with 4 days of work required on-site in Ottawa.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis and review to define Test Strategy for Black Box testing which includes Functional and Integration level Testing
• Testcase Authoring Testcase Automation Test environment setup [Jenkins]
• Analyze Test execution Results Defect creation Defect reproduction and support Defect Triage Continuous quality improvement by analyzing the leaked defects and enhancing the Testcases

Required Qualifications

• Embedded software testing experience (3-5 years of experience)
• Blackbox testing for embedded systems
• Automotive protocols CAN / LIN experience
• Test methodologies - requires a good understanding of how requirements translate to testcases
• Must have experience with embedded Software automation testing on HW
• Python test coding experience
