Our Langley, BC branch has an exciting opportunity for a Trailer Admin Assistant.
What You Will
Do
The Trailer Admin Assistant provides administrative support for the assigned trailer location and assists with the documentation of trailer activities in coordination with the head office. You will work with your branch Team Members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks :
support customers as the first on-site point of contact, ensuring their needs
are understood and addressed efficiently.
liaison between customers and suppliers to resolve issues, warranties, and
inquiries.
clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
administrative support to the trailer sales team throughout the sales process
and daily operations.
accurate and up-to-date customer contact database.
bookkeeping and invoicing functions.
expenses in accordance with FGI policies.
weekly sales activity reports, including competitor insights and market
conditions.
supervisory direction and company procedures.
market trailer inventory using approved tools and in alignment with FGI
guidelines.
annual inventory count processes.
shipping and delivery of customer orders.
orders in the warehouse for delivery and secure cargo (manual or forklift).
consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned work hours.
cooperative, team-oriented behaviour and the ability to work independently.
ideas and suggestions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
as assigned.
What We Require
diploma or equivalent.
general office experience, including administrative support, bookkeeping, and
invoicing.
with a CRM system; background in Salesforce is required.
proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
aftermarket or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required.
customer service skills with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations.
communication skills with the ability to provide clear, detailed information.
Team-oriented, cooperative, and able to work independently for extended
periods.
