Estimated Mandate Duration : 12-18 months

Location : GCC Des Sources (Hybrid)

Language Requirement : French; English working knowledge an asset

Key Skills

• SAP : Proficiency in SAP required
• Technical Skills : Ability to read technical drawings, 3D visualization, and analytical skills
• Mechanical Mindset : Logical and mechanically minded
• Software Proficiency : Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-aided drafting software (Catia, AutoCad, Enovia)
• ERP Software : Knowledge of ERP software such as BAAN, SAP

Responsibilities

• Specification Validation : Validate and correct assembly specifications or manufacturing routines for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components.
• Drawing Interpretation : Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department.
• Manufacturing Strategies : Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
• Tool Definition : Define the tools required for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
• Engineering Harmonization : Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments.
• Production Support : Actively participate in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments.
• Continuous Improvement : Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and take part in research and development projects.

Qualifications

• Education : College or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or a minimum of 1-3 years in a related discipline.
• Technical Drawing : Comfortable reading technical drawings with good 3D visualization and analytical skills.
• Mechanical Aptitude : Logical and mechanically minded.
• Software Skills : Familiar with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia.
• ERP Knowledge : Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP.
• Team Player : Excellent team player, with a reputation for perseverance and sound judgment.
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in both spoken and written French, with a good knowledge of English.
