What we are seeking from you

• Support the execution of marketing and communications initiatives for both Plan A and StaffStat.
• Assist with the creation of social media content based on concepts, direction, and priorities provided by leadership.
• Design social media graphics, banners, and profile images using Canva, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Draft captions and written content for social media posts, newsletters, email campaigns, and marketing materials while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Prepare content for holidays, awareness days, events, and sector-relevant milestones.
• Schedule and publish approved social media content across platforms using designated scheduling tools, currently Hootsuite.
• Schedule approved content for executive personal LinkedIn accounts, as directed.
• Ensure all content is submitted for review and approval in accordance with established timelines.
• Maintain organized content drafts and assets within Canva, incorporating feedback as provided.
• Monitor social media accounts and flag comments, messages, or issues requiring attention.
• Assist with monthly social media performance reporting, including follower growth and engagement metrics.
• Update social media pages as requested, including bios, banners, and profile images.
• Support the creation and updating of marketing and communications materials, including presentations, proposals, brochures, one-pagers, and internal communications.
• Assist with website maintenance tasks, including uploading approved content, bios, and headshots, and liaising with website developers as needed.
• Provide administrative and project support for marketing and communications initiatives.
• Support marketing preparation for conferences, trade shows, job fairs, and sponsored events.
• Assist with tracking and ordering promotional materials and inventory.
• Help ensure brand standards are followed across all platforms and materials.
• Perform additional duties as required or assigned.

What you bring

• A strong interest in marketing and communications, and a desire to grow your career in the field.
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and visual communication skills with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Canva, Social Media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
• Familiarity with social media platforms; experience with scheduling tools such as Hootsuite is an asset.
• Basic understanding of branding and digital communication best practices.
• A positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach.
• Fluency in French is considered an asset.
