Location : Work Location - downtown Toronto near TTC and GO; Office Location : 81 Bay Street, 28th Floor

Work Type : Hybrid work – 1 day per week in office (Wednesdays are mandatory)

Work Schedule : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Potential for contract extension or conversion to FTE : to be determined

Potential for OT : Possibly; to be determined

Target rate range : $60-72 / hr B2B

Project context : Marketing projects; What project will the contractor be working on? Marketing projects

Team Size : Approximately 20 on the immediate team; roughly 100 including broader stakeholders

Daily collaboration : Business Systems Analysts (BSA), Project Managers (PM), Scrum Masters

Experience : 5–10 years

Job Description

This is a contract position for a Salesforce Loyalty Management Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, including the creation of Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components, and ensuring seamless Salesforce.com administration. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful and innovative loyalty management initiatives. This hybrid role is based in Toronto, ON, with opportunities for remote work.

Qualifications

Proficient in Salesforce.com Development, including experience with Visualforce Pages. Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying Lightning Web Components. Strong understanding of Salesforce.com Administration and platform functionality. Experience with Salesforce.com and loyalty management solutions is a plus. Experience with Sales Cloud and Market Cloud is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the financial services industry or working with client-focused platforms is an advantage.

Must Have Requirements

Proficient in Salesforce development, including Visualforce Pages and Salesforce administration

Experience with Salesforce and loyalty management solutions, including data cloud platforms

Experience with Sales Cloud

Proficient in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following : Python, Azure, Java, Databricks

Experience with Marketing Cloud

Banking experience (top 5 banks) within the marketing sector as an application developer

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams in a hybrid work environment

Exhibits excellent communication skills, adapts quickly to changing environments, and works independently while consistently demonstrating sound judgment and accountability

Intake Notes

• Salesforce position requires - Salesforce Admin / Developer exp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• This is a true developer role but Admin experience is helpful to understand from a different perspective
• Integration into Azure / Databricks experience is nice to have
• Years of experience is not a requirement. Want to have 5 years or more as an Applications - developer. Salesforce is fairly new so no max or min
• Banking experience is highly preferred
• Marketing knowledge may be helpful
• Loyalty management experience is important
• Python or Java experience is a nice to have
