Public Relations Account Manager

Position Overview

As Public Relations Account Manager in our Toronto OR Montreal office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple accounts, including the ideation and execution of innovative PR campaigns that drive results. To be successful in a boutique agency environment, we’re looking for someone passionate, entrepreneurial, and a team player, with intense creativity and excellent communication and writing skills.

The requirement for this role is 3-4 years of PR and marketing experience with a solid grasp of the Canadian media and creator landscape, and relevant experience in the lifestyle, fashion and beauty sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, present and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives
• Maintain relationships with media contacts; drive outreach plans and facilitate media inquiries
• Demonstrate superior writing and editing skills
• Ideate and execute paid and earned influencer campaigns; manage relationships between the agency and influencer partners
• Assist in bringing client events and activations to life – demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity with planning, sourcing and logistics
• Contribute to media monitoring and reporting, track and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies
• Collaborate with the social media team to optimize the communications strategy as a whole
• Assist in developing and managing client budgets
• Advise and counsel clients, regularly share expertise and relevant insights/trends
• Serve as an advisor to junior team members and a key support to senior colleagues
• Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Relations
• 3-4 years of public relations experience in an agency setting
• Above-average verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
• Experience in media relations, social media, influencer relations and event management
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in a Mac environment, tech-savvy, AI-literate

Salary Range

50K-70K
