Supply Teachers

The Pikangikum Education Authority is seeking motivated individuals to work as Full Time Supply Teachers at Eenchokay Birchstick School for the 2025-2026 School Year. Teacher’s Responsibilities :

• Be responsible for the effective instruction and evaluation of student progress.
• Be responsible for the effective management of all student behavior.
• Demonstrate an ability to differentiate academic instruction.
• An ability to create an interesting and engaging classroom environment.
• Speaking of the Ojibway language an asset but not essential. Qualifications & Skills :
• To be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or be eligible for membership.
• Excellent technology skills. Knowledge of Indigenous Culture an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
