Unix FIX gateway Developer

Total Experience- 6-8 years

Role Description

Deploy FIX gateways for internal and external clients. Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders across Front and Middle Office divisions to define, design and implement enhancements and new features to FIX Gateway and UI components supported by the Client Connectivity Development team. Investigate and address production issues via log data analysis and recommend solutions that meet Business and IT Risk requirements

Required Skill Set

Expert level UNIX administration skills and ability to script (Shell, Perl, BASH, etc.). 5+ years in a Technology position within the Capital Markets industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Desired Skill Set

Knowledge of FIX protocol. Experience with high capacity / low latency infrastructure a plus. Knowledge of FIX testing tools such as Veri FIX, FIX Conductor. Basic Networking and Routing knowledge, Java development, hands-on experience developing on Linux and Windows platforms, Web development skills : JSP / Servlets, Tomcat, Spring, HTML and CSS, Knowledge of development build cycles and tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and Helios
