CAD160000–CAD170000 yearlyJob descriptionYou are a technical hands-on leader with a deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering and Cybersecurity You have 5+ years of experience leading a team of DevOps and / or Site Reliability Engineers for a commercial high availability SaaS product. Your experience includes collaborating with software engineering teams to achieve a high software delivery and operational performance You have experience leading the implementation of ISO 27001 and / or SOC2 controls and participating in audits You have experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments and security incident resolutions with internal and external stakeholders You have experience designing and implementing OKR’s to achieve team performance You have experience leading and influencing decision making with data insights You are willing to lead and participate in an on-call roster You have the ability to support communication about cloud systems and cybersecurity concepts to Wenco’s mining customers You have experience with Azure DevOps You have experience driving continuous improvement initiatives including adoption of automation, monitoring and incident management tools and practices You have experience with projects under the Cloud Native (CNCF) Landscape You have experience leading and collaborating with globally distributed teams Hybrid in-office (2 days per week) and home-office work policy Optional 9 / 80 schedule, allowing you to work 9 days and have one additional day off Annual Profit Sharing Scheme Competitive salary based on your skills and experience Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent) Must be eligible to work in Canada This role may require some travel to customers sites or international Wenco offices (~10%)

The Role
Reporting to the CTO, the Cloud Operations Manager will lead a team of engineers who are responsible for Cybersecurity, Site Reliability and DevOps for the Wenco cloud platform.
Responsibilities of the role will include :
- Monitoring and operations of the cloud platform
- Maintenance and operations of CI / CD pipelines
- Implementation and operation of cybersecurity controls
- Leading critical incident response
- Management of cloud costs
