Responsibilities :
- Develop high-quality, secure, and efficient code for cloud-based distributed systems.
- Design, implement, test, debug, and document new and existing components, ensuring they meet business, quality, and operational needs.
- Participate in code and solution design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team in Agile ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, and execute tasks, contributing to successful sprint outcomes.
- Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Provide support for production deployments and ongoing platform maintenance as part of the end-to-end platform ownership.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience in delivering highly available and scalable cloud-based distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong expertise in using AWS platforms and services such as ECS , Serverless Lambdas , SQS , SNS , and Kinesis .
- Proficient in working with databases like MySQL and DynamoDB , including optimizing queries for performance.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript , Node.js , and TypeScript .
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Prior experience in an Agile / Scrum environment.
