Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Develop high-quality, secure, and efficient code for cloud-based distributed systems.
  • Design, implement, test, debug, and document new and existing components, ensuring they meet business, quality, and operational needs.
  • Participate in code and solution design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the team in Agile ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, and execute tasks, contributing to successful sprint outcomes.
  • Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Provide support for production deployments and ongoing platform maintenance as part of the end-to-end platform ownership.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in delivering highly available and scalable cloud-based distributed systems in a production environment.
  • Strong expertise in using AWS platforms and services such as ECS , Serverless Lambdas , SQS , SNS , and Kinesis .
  • Proficient in working with databases like MySQL and DynamoDB , including optimizing queries for performance.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript , Node.js , and TypeScript .
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Prior experience in an Agile / Scrum environment.
