About the workplace

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product - CRM with a hands-on approach and strong technical aptitude. This strategic thinker will be results-focused and possess a deep understanding of data architecture principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in the martech space, be an expert in building segmentation and engagement programs, and have a proven track record in sales support and productivity.

This is an 18-month contract role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide product manager and dedicated pod on enterprise-wide CRM.
  • Develop and maintain the product strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, directing pod on priority work for execution.
  • Ensure capabilities are developed within budget and without unexpected cost overruns, working closely with many cross-functional departments within the company.
  • Leverage data and AI capabilities to deliver deep, personalized, and actionable member (customer) experiences.
  • Build and enhance strong enterprise CRM implementations, with a focus on Microsoft D365.

A typical day would involve :

  • Planning and supporting the development of a prioritized pipeline (roadmap) for the given portfolio, built on stakeholder input and continuously reviewed and updated.
  • Working with direct report, peers, and leadership to identify strategies to grow and improve the portfolio from various perspectives, including risk appetite, member / business impact, technology and systems requirements, volumes, revenues, and breadth.
  • Establishing, implementing, practicing, and continuously evolving processes and procedures across the Product Management Lifecycle.
  • Collaborating closely with the broader IT Solutions team and the wider organization through the inception, design, development, launch, and improvement of member and staff experiences, ensuring product profitability, member satisfaction, and market fit.
  • Supporting team members in their work, removing roadblocks, and actively involving yourself in the execution of work items to increase velocity across the portfolio.
  • Modeling a growth mindset, empowering direct reports, and supporting them through coaching and ongoing professional development.
  • You have :

  • 2-3 years leading product managers and cross-functional agile pods.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Product Development, Product Design, or Product Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Demonstrated writing skills suitable for presentation to senior executives.
  • Proven track record of taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Ability to build metrics that prove the growth of the portfolio.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Experience owning strategy and execution related to CRM.
  • Bonus points if you have :

  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

  • Analytical : Facilitate data-driven decision-making, including collecting data, researching, and building models.
  • Problem Solver : Skilled in diagnosing challenges, developing innovative business solutions, and assessing risks and opportunities.

    The salary range for the role is $102,200 to $153,200, and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($127,700). The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
