Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey.We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.#WeAre WSPWhat you can expect to do here : Provide legal support for the negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of contracts within the Properties and Buildings business line.Advise project teams throughout the project lifecycle with timely and practical legal guidance.Offer legal assistance to internal clients and stakeholders on a broad range of issues impacting the business.Attend internal and external meetings with stakeholders and clients.Draft and review legal documents, including WSP’s standard contract templates.Review public and private RFPs, assisting the business line in preparing competitive service offers.Assess the risk profile of business opportunities and present findings to internal risk committees for bid approval.Ensure all business decisions comply with WSP’s internal policies.Collaborate with the Claims & Litigation Team to evaluate and advise on contractual disputes or claims.Support WSP’s compliance with federal and provincial laws and regulations.Provide ongoing legal advice and support for day-to-day business activities.Contribute to any other legal tasks as needed to support the department.What you’ll bring to WSP : Member of the Quebec bar, with 1-5 years of experience.Fully bilingual (French and English, both verbal and written) with the ability to engage with international clients and contribute to national initiatives.Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for upper management and other stakeholders.Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements; experience in construction and engineering is an asset.Solid understanding of business principles and risk management strategies.Industry knowledge is a plus, including familiarity with WSP’s business lines, experience in construction / engineering, joint ventures, public-private partnerships, and large projects (such as design-build, collaborative agreements, and strategic projects).Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple urgent projects simultaneously.Capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team and interact with various stakeholders.Strong autonomy, initiative, and excellent time-management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
