POSITION SUMMARY :

The New Product Development Proto Shop Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, communicating and documenting all activity between the Prototype Shop, Engineering and our external / internal suppliers.

Requirements

  • Issue PO requests for Prototype Shop parts, services and outside contractors.
  • Order of parts for all Prototype Shop Engineering projects.
  • Obtains quotations from vendors for prototype parts to ensure favorable quality, price and delivery terms.
  • Assist with scheduling contractors for shop maintenance.
  • Responsible for shipping / receiving and the coordination of parts material deliveries.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to the essential functions.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with MRP Systems (Oracle).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment.
  • Experience with Share Point Proto Shop Work Request is considered an asset.
