Job Description

As a Counter Salesperson, you will provide sales support and exceptional customer service to walk-in customers at our Profit Center counters. Your primary responsibilities include :

• Assist customers with purchases, product inquiries, and recommendations while driving sales growth through counter merchandising and product promotion
• Process sales orders, returns, and warranty claims in compliance with company procedures
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked counter area and manage inventory levels
• Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales teams to support overall sales efforts
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in operating sales software and processing orders
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of plumbing and building products preferred
• Experience with Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook an asset
