Position Summary

A Junior Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating professional-quality audio video and graphic assets to support UNSW Lifelong Learnings programs tools and promotional and training materials intended for staff and external stakeholders.

This role will :

• Utilise the provided scripts from subject-matter experts to create audio and video recordings with a web-based media editing application then edit them to align with UNSWs design standards.
• Use video editing software to trim edit and update existing video assets based on a provided brief.
• Create simple accessible images (e.g. charts infographics or edited photos / screenshots) based on written requests or low-res mock-ups.
• Create templates and drafts for social media style posts and informative or instructional content based on UNSWs programs case studies and software solutions.
• Use templates and brand guidelines to create informative or instructional content (short videos infographics brochures) when a written brief and source assets are provided.
• Communicate status updates and questions or suggestions on the brief to stakeholders in the Lifelong Learning team and follow-up on feedback received.
• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
