About the Role :
- Practice Administration : Managing email and calendar accounts, electronic / hard copy filing, processing client accounts, and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Document Preparation : Drafting, preparing, amending, proofreading, and serving correspondence, accounts, various litigation documents (e.
g., pleadings, briefs, motion records), and court forms.
- Scheduling : Preparing and maintaining a bring-forward system to track court filing dates, meetings, and appointments.
- Client Interaction : Filtering incoming calls / mail / email and following up on various information requests, including responding to client queries and ensuring high levels of client service and responsiveness.
- Billing : Preparing and amending prebills and sending invoices to clients.
- Other Duties : As assigned.
Responsibilities :

Qualifications :
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- College Certificate or Diploma, or relevant combination of training and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant.
- Experience in superior court litigation files
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility to accommodate work demands.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in proofreading and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion when necessary.
Pay range and compensation package :
Pay Rate : between $60,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
