Are you an individual who thrives in a fastpaced environment Are you seeking a new sales challenge Our client is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative who lives in the Central Ontario region. With a strong knowledge and passion for commercial building materials you will maximize sales within an assigned territory while building and maintaining strong client relations identifying new opportunities and closing deals. Reporting directly to the Sales Director.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Identify the needs of customers both new and existing and maintain product demand for retailers
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers by following up on estimates and remaining in touch with potential leads and referrals
- Prepare quotes and estimates and ensure orders are processed effectively with the internal team
- Remain up to date on products and technical information with existing and upcoming product lines
- Provide customers with updates on order shipments and respond to inquiries as needed
- Manage store sets utilizing plan grams; physically build store railing displays as specified
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends territory and product offerings
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to prepare salesrelated documentation
- Brainstorm ideas and concepts on how to better service customers
- Monitor and meet sales goals and targets
- Share product applications sales and marketing knowledge with team members through huddles and presentations
Requirements
5 years sales experience in the building materials industryPostsecondary education in Business Communications Marketing or a related field is an assetStrong knowledge and market comprehension of building materials and tradesKnowledge of Microsoft Suite of ProgramsAbility to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writingEffective presentation skills to market products and offerings to the customer baseSuperior relationship management skills with a focus on establishing and maintaining connections with employees and customersAbility to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with a sense of urgency to meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail with the ability to solve problemsSelfdriven and focused on achieving results; ability to stay motivated while dealing with rejectionPhysical ability to lift heavy boxes / objects up to 50lbs when building out store setsMust be comfortable in travelling frequently; overnight when requiredBenefits

Engineering Designer. a) Review Work Orders : Reinforce correct information coming from PM s and captured into the WO before it s released to the shop floor. b) Checks drawings for correctness. Review work orders for accuracy and completeness, issue work orders (as required). Review inventory levels for accuracy and completeness. Review shipping pick lists for accuracy and completeness. Revise and update ERP data; create processes / procedures for inputting future data where necessary. Oversee the SCAF (Sub Contractor Agreement Form) process. Analyze the current raw materials management systems for efficiency and effectiveness. Provide support, coaching and implementation assistance for new production initiatives as required. Ex. new warehouse inventory management system. Perform duties and tasks in other departments as required under the direction of the Management team (i.e. Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving and Production).
