ERP & E-commerce Systems Administrator

Salary: $80,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in a systems, ERP, or e-commerce operations role, ideally in retail, e-commerce, or wholesale
• Hands-on ERP administration experience, including configuration, user management, inventory and sales modules, and troubleshooting; we strongly prefer Odoo, though NetSuite or similar systems are also relevant
• Experience with ERP–Shopify integrations, including inventory synchronization, order flows, connectors, APIs, and webhooks
• Experience managing product and inventory data across multiple Shopify stores, including bulk data operations using CSV, Excel, Matrixify, or similar tools, and multi-market setups
• Strong understanding of retail or wholesale operations, including order flows, inventory, fulfillment, pricing, and DTC and B2B customer types, and how these translate into ERP and e-commerce systems
• Ability to work with non-technical teams to understand business problems and determine system changes to address them
• Comfort providing general IT support in a small office
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting, documenting work, and owning issues through resolution
• Authorization to work in Canada
• Nice to have: Odoo.sh experience or Python knowledge
• Nice to have: Shopify Plus, Shopify Markets, or B2B and wholesale setup experience
• Nice to have: Experience with ShipStation, online marketplaces, or wholesale platforms
• Nice to have: Basic SQL skills
• Nice to have: Experience working with overseas or outsourced development teams

Responsibilities:

• Administer Odoo ERP on Odoo.sh as our system of record for inventory, orders, and products
• Manage integrations between Odoo, ShipStation, our six Shopify storefronts, and other sales channels, including inventory and order synchronization connectors
• Maintain product, pricing, inventory, variant, collection, and customer data across our stores, Odoo, and other channels, including bulk imports, exports, and updates
• Identify and resolve data issues across systems, such as failed synchronization, mismatched SKUs, and duplicate or missing records
• Learn how our operations, warehouse, sales, and marketing teams work, translate their needs into system configuration and process changes, and recommend improvements
• Support additional platforms and sales channels as our business grows
• Coordinate with external vendors and developers on ERP and integration fixes, and document systems and processes
• Handle day-to-day IT requests, including user accounts and access, devices, software, networking, and basic security

We are Chive, a Toronto-based home decor and gifting brand selling across Canada, the US, the UK, and the EU through six Shopify storefronts and other online channels. We use Odoo, hosted on Odoo.sh, as our inventory and ERP system of record. This is a hands-on systems role focused on our ERP, system integrations, and data accuracy—not a developer position. Youll work across business operations, orders, inventory, fulfillment, and wholesale, and report to our Director of E-commerce & Digital Marketing. The position is based on-site in Toronto, Ontario, with a salary of $80,000–$95,000 CAD per year, depending on experience.
