Job Title: Part-Time House Manager & Cook (2 Days/Week, 10 Hrs Total) – New Westminster Location: New Westminster, BC Position Type: Part-Time (10 hours total per week / two 5-hour shifts) Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour ($300 / week) About the Role We are a Caribbean family seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced House Manager & Cook to help maintain our home and keep our household running smoothly. This role focuses purely on high-standard home maintenance, detailed deep cleaning, laundry care, and straightforward home-style meal preparation. Key Responsibilities -Meal Preparation & Cooking: Cook simple, fresh home-style meals and prepare multi-day meal preps/fridge stocking. -Deep Cleaning: Perform detailed room-by-room deep cleaning, dusting, floor care, bathroom/kitchen sanitation, and home organization. -Laundry & Linen Care: Wash, fold, iron/steam, and neatly store laundry, clothing, and household linens. -Household Management: Monitor pantry supplies, maintain kitchen cleanliness/hygiene, and keep common areas organized. Qualifications & Requirements -Proven experience in housekeeping, home management, or domestic service (references required). -Good everyday home-cooking skills for healthy, high-protein meals (familiarity with Caribbean dishes, flavours, or cooking styles is a definite bonus!). -Meticulous attention to detail for deep cleaning and home organization. -Punctual, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy and routine. -Valid Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one upon conditional offer) and eligible to work in Canada. Schedule & Rate -Hours: 10 hours total per week (scheduled as two 5-hour shifts; days of the week are flexible for the right candidate). -Compensation: $30.00 per hour.
