Job Description

Join our dynamic team working on final assembly focusing on avionics components. You will be troubleshooting and assembling avionics parts into the aircraft, including wire components, crimping, splicing, testing, and installing equipment. There may be opportunities for bench work as it becomes available. Teams are formed based on experience, allowing for collaboration and shared expertise.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and assemble avionics parts into aircraft.
• Wire components, crimp, splice, and test equipment.
• Install avionics equipment as part of the final assembly line.
• Perform bench work when available.
• Collaborate with teams based on experience.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years of avionics experience.
• 1+ year of final assembly / FAL experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Dash 8, Twin Otter, or CL series.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to crimp, terminate, splice wire, and solder.
• Blueprint reading skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Avionics AME-E or ACA certification.
• Experience with Garmin systems.
• MRO experience.

Work Environment

• Located in NE Calgary near the airport.
• The team is projected to grow to roughly 120 people by mid-2027, and you will be part of a contractor unit.
• Shift availability will be determined based on demand, with overtime opportunities available as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
