Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Functional Consultant to provide post-go-live Application Management Services (AMS) support for a public sector organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting SAP Group Reporting functionality, resolving production issues, troubleshooting financial consolidation processes, and providing ongoing configuration and system enhancements. This role requires hands-on SAP Group Reporting experience and a strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.
Location: Remote – Canada
Duration: ASAP until March 31,
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day production support for SAP Group Reporting within an AMS environment.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP Group Reporting.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to recurring production issues.
- Support financial consolidation processes, including month-end and year-end close activities.
- Troubleshoot consolidation issues related to intercompany eliminations, data validation, reporting, and consolidation rules.
- Perform SAP Group Reporting configuration, maintenance, and functional enhancements.
- Collaborate with Finance, business stakeholders, and SAP technical teams to resolve functional and technical issues.
- Coordinate functional testing, regression testing, and deployment of fixes and enhancements.
- Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, and support procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of SAP Group Reporting processes.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, including configuration, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, group reporting, and financial close processes.
- Experience supporting SAP Group Reporting in a post-go-live or AMS environment.
- Experience resolving production incidents, service requests, and performing root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, data collection, and validation.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Strong SAP functional configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote support environment and collaborate effectively with Finance and technical teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Previous experience supporting SAP Group Reporting for public sector organizations.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO).
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to Group Reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC).
- Experience working in an ITIL-based AMS environment using incident management tools such as ServiceNow.

An intermediate-level SAP Group Reporting Functional Consultant with solid hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, financial consolidation, and post-go-live production support. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting complex reporting and consolidation issues, supporting financial close activities, and independently managing incidents in an AMS environment.
