Assistant Front Store Manager

Lead front-store operations at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart, using retail management and customer-focused leadership to support community service. Help keep customers at the centre through organized daily execution.

As Assistant Front Store Manager, you assist the Front Store Manager with human, physical, and financial resources. You support product flow, Store Standards, staffing, labour scheduling, and store objectives. The position also involves coaching staff, supporting hiring, and applying business and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Store Standards across the sales floor and backroom
• Support labour scheduling through Work Force Management
• Ensure staffing levels adequately operate the business
• Support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy
• Lead and motivate staff through Core Values

Requirements:

• Previous retail management experience
• Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize changing initiatives quickly
• Superior coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Business and financial acumen with sound judgment
