Child Care Worker Assistant

Support children’s development as a Child Care Worker Assistant in a French-speaking child care centre. This permanent full-time position is completed onsite during daytime hours.

You will assist early childhood educators with programs supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. The position includes record keeping, staff discussions, collaborative relationships, and maintaining children’s health, security, and well-being. Experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist educators with child development programs
• Help educators or supervisors keep records
• Discuss children’s progress and problems at staff meetings
• Build collaborative relationships with coworkers and service providers
• Maintain a healthy, secure environment for children

Requirements:

• French language ability
• College, CEGEP, or related certificate or diploma
• Program lasting three months to less than one year
• Experience is an asset
• Work authorization in Canada
