Student Residence Life Advisor

Support residence students as a Resident Advisor through mentorship, programming, and student support while living in an assigned residence room. Create respectful communities.

This student leadership role supports the Residence Life Department’s transition and success objectives. You will serve as a role model, mentor, resource, and support for residents. Duties include social and educational programming, conflict assistance, referrals, emergency response, and community standards enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate monthly social and educational programs
• Support residents with personal, social, and academic concerns
• Assist with roommate conflict resolution
• Respond to emergencies and student crises
• Maintain confidentiality regarding resident issues

Requirements:

• Current full-time enrollment at the working institution
• Maintain a minimum 65% GPA throughout employment
• Superior verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
