Job description
Use automotive diagnostics and electrical skills to service medium-duty aerial equipment in Chilliwack with Zuma Lift Service. Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Zuma Lift Service is expanding and seeks an experienced automotive mechanic ready to transition into medium-duty equipment. You will work on boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers. The work includes engine systems, hydraulics, electrical components, preventive maintenance, and inspections, with manufacturer training and on-site mentoring provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair engines, injectors, starters, and alternators
- Service fuel systems and medium-duty equipment engines
- Repair hydraulic cylinders, seals, coils, and valves
- Diagnose joysticks, sensors, and circuit boards
- Complete preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Requirements:
- Five or more years as a senior automotive technician
- Strong gasoline and diesel troubleshooting skills
- Strong electrical diagnostic abilities
- Hydraulics familiarity or willingness to learn
- Computer, diagnostic software, and tool-set skills
