Phased Array Ultrasonic Technician

Apply PAUT expertise with Echo NDE in Red Deer, Alberta, performing code-based inspections across critical pressure equipment and piping.

As a Phased Array Technician, you will deliver non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout field assignments. The work involves phased array ultrasonic testing, ASME code compliance, accurate data evaluation, and detailed reporting. You will support high-quality inspection services for facility and pipeline sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PAUT on pressure vessels, piping, and related equipment
• Execute inspections according to ASME codes and standards
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data accurately
• Maintain detailed reports meeting client and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with field crews and project teams

Requirements:

• Valid CGSB or PCN PAUT certification
• CGSB UT Level 2 certification
• Proven ASME code experience with vessels and piping
• Minimum two years of relevant advanced UT experience
• CGSB MT or PT Level 2 certification considered an asset
