Power Engineer Utility Systems

Operate Labatt powerhouse systems with mechanical troubleshooting expertise across boilers, steam, compressed air, pumps, and valves on rotating shifts.

As a Powerhouse Engineer, you will maintain plant utility systems and mechanical equipment supporting safe, reliable brewery operations. The role includes inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, work orders, records, and collaboration with Operations and Maintenance. Labatt operates iconic brands including Budweiser, Corona, Stella Artois, and NÜTRL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor boilers, steam, compressed air, and CO₂ systems
• Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, valves, piping, seals, and bearings
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete corrective mechanical repairs
• Perform powerhouse inspections and operating checks
• Maintain records and follow safety, environmental, food safety, and HACCP requirements

Requirements:

• Valid 5th Class Power Engineering certificate required
• 4th Class Power Engineering certification preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Availability for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
