Job description
Licensed Pharmacists can deliver pharmaceutical care at Lake Country Co-op’s Marketplace Pharmacy in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This temporary full-time position emphasizes patient safety and counseling.
From August 10, 2026, to September 24, 2027, you will provide a full range of pharmacy services with a collaborative team. The work includes prescription processing, dispensing, verification, compounding, and patient education. You will also use advanced scope of practice, support quality improvements, and follow legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions and counsel patients on appropriate medication use
- Process, dispense, verify, and document prescriptions accurately
- Compound medications according to NAPRA guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and pharmacy team members
- Identify medication errors and improve pharmacy workflows
Requirements:
- Accredited Pharmacy Degree and Saskatchewan licensing completion
- Good standing with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
- Previous Saskatchewan pharmacist experience
- Saskatchewan Advanced Method Certification and advanced practice interest
- Fluency with Kroll Pharmacy Software
