Resort Operations Dispatcher Whistler

Support daily mountain operations at Whistler Blackcomb by coordinating dispatch communications, incidents, and logistics. This full-time seasonal assignment is based in Whistler, British Columbia.

The Experienced Dispatcher provides timely communication across departments while maintaining operational records and reporting systems. Responsibilities include radio and telephone dispatch, emergency services and rescue coordination, Access Control support, and administrative assistance. Strong organization, initiative, and attention to detail are central to this work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary dispatch resource for resort operations
• Monitor radio, telephone, and online internal communications
• Log, report, and communicate incidents and operational events
• Support Access Control, emergency services, and rescue coordination
• Coordinate workforce scheduling, correspondence, and departmental logistics

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer proficiency and Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Ability to learn new technology and software systems
• Valid British Columbia driver's license
• Self-motivated approach with effective problem-solving ability
