Artificial Intelligence Researcher Co-op

Advance artificial intelligence research with Huawei Canada through LLM reasoning, agent research, and Python development. This co-op role focuses on machine learning innovation.

As a Researcher with the Noah’s Ark lab, you will contribute to LLM-powered Agent projects and related applications. You will implement proposed algorithms, deploy models internally, collaborate with researchers, and track selected machine learning areas. The work supports research connected with foundation models, Agentic Models, Physical AI, and Reinforcement Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in LLM reasoning and agent research projects
• Implement algorithms for proposed models and applications
• Deploy implemented models into internal products
• Collaborate closely with researchers across the team
• Write insight and technical reports on selected areas

Requirements:

• Enrolled in senior Bachelor’s or Master’s technical studies
• Know deep learning training, regularization, and generalization
• Understand Transformers, LSTM, and GNN architectures
• Have LLM training or inference experience
• Code strongly in Python and use PyTorch
