Director Facility Infrastructure Engineering
Lead facility infrastructure engineering at Xcimer Energy in Denver, applying systems thinking and technical leadership onsite. Shape systems supporting advanced laser and pulsed-power operations.
As Director, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering for complex facility systems supporting industrial operations and fusion energy development. You will guide system-level design, technical execution, and cross-functional coordination across requirements, architecture, detailed design, integration, validation, construction, and commissioning. The position combines strategic direction with hands-on progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Define department roles, workflows, standards, and design practices
- Translate operational requirements into detailed engineering plans
- Guide facility systems through design, integration, and validation
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and operations teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Eight-plus years in facility or infrastructure engineering
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, structural, and control systems
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and building codes
