Starbucks Assistant Store Manager

Lead Starbucks store operations in Burnaby with strong team leadership and customer service skills. This full-time, on-site position supports daily performance.

The Assistant Manager supports the Unit Manager at SFU Dining Services. You will coach associates, uphold Starbucks standards, and help deliver operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The position requires food safety awareness, scheduling experience, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations with the Unit Manager
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop associates
• Resolve customer concerns and improve customer experiences
• Manage cash handling, inventory, ordering, and reconciliations
• Monitor food safety, health, and quality standards

Requirements:

• Two years of supervisory or management experience
• Food services or hospitality experience
• Strong customer service and leadership experience
• Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems proficiency
• Flexible availability and ability to lift 25 pounds
