Unity Unreal Gameplay Programmer

Build gameplay systems in Unity or Unreal for mobile, PC, and XR projects at WiseMatic’s Toronto office with hybrid work. Apply C# or C++ to polished releases.

WiseMatic seeks a Game Developer with professional experience creating games, gamified apps, and real-time 3D experiences. You will prototype mechanics, develop gameplay features, and support projects spanning entertainment, education, and enterprise training. The work includes Unity, Unreal Engine, UI, tools, and software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design gameplay systems, UI, and tools in Unity or Unreal
• Prototype mechanics and gamification ideas with clients
• Optimise performance across mobile, PC, and VR headsets
• Integrate analytics, backend services, purchases, and multiplayer
• Collaborate with artists and designers during development

Requirements:

• Three or more years of professional game development experience
• At least one shipped title or substantial portfolio project
• Strong C# or C++ skills and software engineering practices
• Understanding of game loops, physics, animation, and profiling
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
