MILLWRIGHT APPRENTICE — AUTOMOTIVE STAMPING

Our client is a leading automotive metal stamping manufacturer, part of a large, vertically integrated North American steel and stamping group. Their Windsor cold stamping facility runs high-level robotics and advanced process technology, supplying structural components to major automotive programs.

They’re looking for an Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprentice to join the maintenance team and work toward a 433A alongside experienced millwrights.

What you’d do

• Support production maintenance across the facility
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs to stamping presses, feed lines, conveyors and plant support systems
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Log apprenticeship hours with the employer as your sponsor

What they’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent — required
• Registered 433A apprenticeship or completed in‑school training — preferred, not required
• Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in the millwright trade
• Comfortable with rotating shifts including midnights
• Stamping, automotive, or manufacturing maintenance experience is an asset
