Job description
Assemble complex machines in Bolton with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while following engineering specifications and established quality standards.
Husky Technologies seeks an Assembly Technician for a full-time contract lasting up to six months. The position involves assembling, fitting, and installing prefabricated components and complete machine systems. You will interpret drawings, use precision tools, and support testing, troubleshooting, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Conduct inspections of air, water, oil, and hydraulic circuits
- Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts safely
Requirements:
- High school or related post-secondary education
- Studies in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, or related subjects
- Four to seven years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to work rotating shift schedules
- Ability to commute to Bolton
