Pharmacy Dispensing Technician

Support accurate prescription dispensing and pharmacy workflow as a Pharmacy Dispensing Technician at Shoppers Drug Mart. Provide pleasant, timely service to customers.

This regulated technician position supports technical dispensing functions and pharmacy services in accordance with professional standards. Responsibilities include prescription data entry, medication selection, billing, packaging, labeling, and customer support. Provincial registration and a Pharmacy Technician diploma are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter new prescriptions and process refill requests accurately
• Select medications according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice
• Count, measure, package, and label prescriptions efficiently
• Adjudicate online and manual third-party accounts
• Receive orders and file completed pharmacy documentation

Requirements:

• Registered with the applicable provincial licensing college
• Pharmacy Technician College diploma
• Strong attention to detail in prescription processing
• Organizational skills with ability to multitask
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
