Casual Child Care Educator Supply

Support children as a casual Child Care Supply Educator with the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka across Bradford, Innisfil, and Lefroy. Apply play-based learning and maintain safety.

This casual, as-needed position supports nurturing environments for children in YMCA programs. You will provide personal care, supervise groups of up to 15 children independently, and plan learning according to the YMCA Curriculum. The role also involves communication with families, staff, and volunteers, plus inclusive support for children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide toileting, diaper changing, first aid, and medication support
• Supervise children and maintain safety in group settings
• Plan and implement YMCA Curriculum play-based learning
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and volunteers
• Support children with exceptional behaviours and additional needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
• Required ongoing opening, closing, or full-day availability
• Passion for children and quality play-based learning
