Speech Language Pathologist
Job Description
TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide teletherapy services to students, during school hours. We seek a Speech Language Pathologist who is both a California resident and who is experienced in AAC evaluations. A certificate of training in AAC is required. Evaluations would be on a referral basis, so hours each week might vary. Additional opportunities are available if you seek more hours. This position is for the school year, and is a fully remote position, working from home. This is a truly rewarding opportunity for caring therapists who are looking for flexible hours, autonomy, and a deep sense of fulfillment that comes with affecting a real impact in their students' lives. We are happy to support those making a transition from a medical, home, health, clinic, or adult setting. Basic Qualifications
- Therapists should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home
- Excellent communication skills via email and phone
- Full licensure in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice
- AAC training and/or certificate required, and experience with AAC evaluations
- Functional understanding of electronic devices
- A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice
Preferred, but not required
- Experience providing remote, virtual services
