Use mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise as a Remote Heavy Duty Equipment Technician serving Northern Ontario from Greater Sudbury or Timmins.

Custom Truck One Source is hiring a full-time technician supporting customers throughout Northern Ontario. The work includes diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance for specialized trucks and equipment. The position suits a 421A or 310T Red Seal Technician comfortable working independently in customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair utility trucks and specialized equipment
• Service hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections
• Complete repair orders, reports, timecards, and documentation
• Communicate repair progress and additional needs to management

Requirements:

• Ontario Journeyperson Skilled Trades Certificate or Red Seal certification
• Valid Class G or Class D driver's license
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Northern Ontario
• Own hand tools and basic computer proficiency
